Über mich

Seit dem Studium in Deutschland und den USA interessiere ich mich für das Sehen und für Erkrankungen des Auges, die Sehverlust verursachen können. In den renommiertesten nationalen Zentren in Deutschland, Grossbritannien, den USA und der Schweiz habe ich mich mit Netzhaut- und Makulaerkrankungen beschäftigt und wesentlich zu neuen Behandlungsansätzen beigetragen. Mein besonderes Interesse gilt der altersabhängigen Makuladegeneration, der diabetischen Retino- und Makulopathie und den erblichen Netzhaut- und Makuladystrophien.
